During the course, participants will be required to excavate and install primary ground support systems and physically demonstrate competency within a simulated/controlled trench environment using relevant equipment.

This unit of competency provides the required skills and knowledge to interpret and implement traffic management plans to ensure the safety of construction and maintenance workers, and the general public.
Please note that Vic Roads requires all field staff with responsibility for setting out, implementing and/or monitoring a Traffic Guidance Scheme, as required by a traffic management plan, to have completed the RIIWHS302E Implement Traffic Management Plans unit of competency and to complete a refresher course every three (3) years.
It is highly recommended that course participants also complete RIIWHS205E Control Traffic with Stop-Slow Bat to obtain work in the Traffic Control industry.

This essential white card training will enable you to work in the construction industry. This unit of competency supports the attainment of the basic OHS knowledge required prior to undertaking designated work tasks. It requires the ability to demonstrate personal awareness of OHS legislative requirements, and the basic principles of risk management and prevention of injury and illness in the construction industry.

This course will enable you to work in the construction industry. Once you’ve finished the course a Construction Induction (white) card will be sent to you by WorkSafe.
