Credit Transfer & Mutual Recognition Policy

Purpose

In accordance with the NVR Standards for RTO Registration, SysTec RTO recognises AQF qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by Registered Training Organisations throughout Australia.

Scope

The policy will apply to all courses on SysTec RTO’s Scope of Registration.

Policy Statement

As a Registered Training Organisation authorised to deliver training and issue qualifications under the AQF, SysTec RTO recognises AQF Qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by RTOs throughout Australia to its’ Scope of Registration.

Credit Transfer Credit transfer is the recognition by credit of a unit of competency or module previously completed by an applicant and includes granted applications for Mutual Recognition.

Mutual Recognition Mutual recognition is granted when an individual has undertaken recent formal training through another nationally recognised RTO that meets the requirements of a Training Package that SysTec RTO is authorised to issue.

RCC (Recognition of Current Competencies) Recognition of Current Competencies is the assessment of an individual’s current capacity to perform; it applies if an individual has successfully completed the requirements for a unit of competency or a module and is now required to be reassessed to ensure that competence is being maintained.

To ensure authenticity, certified copies of all documents must be supplied by the applicant; copies will be maintained by SysTec RTO.

SysTec RTO will, where applicable, contact the AQF provider to verify any Qualification(s) or Statement of Attainment(s).

SysTec RTO will ensure that staff, trainers/assessors and course participants are informed of this policy.
